Snow on Easter Monday

In our region (center of Belgium) snow at this time of the season is rather unusual  (1982).  But spring is in the air.  It won’t take that long before shrubs an perennials unburden themselves from their melting weight.

In the morning it is still snowing   The small orchard and the vegetable garden covered with snow  Helleborus orientalis and helleborus Nigercors Pink

The euphorbia myrinites and the tiny yellow tulips in the jar are a good combination even without snow    The opening flowers and the magnificent fresh yellow leaves of Sambucus plumosa "aurea" covered with snow (A lot of pictures on the other sites)
